I had hotmail live (free) sync'd with outlook. I signed up for hotmail live PLUS and was hoping that it would sync my outlook calendar/inbox/contacts with my online hotmail but instead when I set up the POP3 account in outlook I lost ALL my online inbox. I have tried sending myself a test email (from myself) and it goes into my outlook inbox but never shows up online. In addition I cant get calendar or contacts to sync up. I feel like I paid money for less compatibility. Can anyone help me?

For many months, I have been able to receive emailed photographs from a cell phone. In the last ten days, I receive an email, but the email is blank. If I send the email photo to my Google account, it goes through just fine. But I prefer to work in my MSN account, where I receive most of my mail. I have talked with AT&T. They say the problem is with MSN. Any suggestions? I notice the individual below me had the same problem. Unfortunately, no one responded.

For a while i could see my pictures just fine, now i cant see them unless from certain emailers...i really would like this problem solved because i do get alot of pictures sent to my email.  If anybody knows how to help me please do so!

Ever since Hotmail switched to "Live Hotmail," I can't reply to senders (I receive the message: "You're only able to e-mail approved contacts, so some of the recipients have been removed from your message."), and my Junk box is gone.  I think my account has been changed (not by me) to a restricted child account, and I can't find a way to set it back to a normal ("parent") account.  I am 35 years old, with no children.  Please help.

I have just recieved a e-mail suposedly from windows live at my ntl e-mail asking because of upgrade in there system I must supply within 3 days my username pasword country of orogin or my acount will be closed permanantly is this a scam or is it correct can anyone tell me

Just in case you're actually reading this... 

My problem:  I was using the "new" version of Live Hotmail (not the classic version) and thought it would be nice to resize the reading pane.  Unfortunately the reading pane got resized to a tiny sliver along the bottom of the screen and clicking on the edge to drag and resize the reading pane failed to work.  I tried changing my reading pane to "right" instead of "bottom" in the options menu.  This allowed me to see the preview pane until I tried to resize it again which made it snap all the way to the left of the page with no response when trying to click and drag on the edge of the window to expand the reading pane.  Just to be thorough, I then tried to resize the folder tree view and it also "rolled up" to the left of the window with no response when attempting to reverse the resize event.  Now I'm back to using the "classic" Hotmail without the reading pane because the "new" Live Hotmail seems to be completely hosed.  Whenever I relogin I get the same view (which I'm assuming is maintained on the servers and not local) with the rolled up preview pane and folder view that can't be seen.

Is there a tech support forum that can assist me with this issue?  Hopefully it's a simple fix.

After using Hotmail for sometime, I cannot access the new version, only the Classic version which is not as user friendly. Please tell me how I can return to the better version.

How do i sync hotmail to outlook

Hi Over the past few months i've been unable to login to my hotmail account -  I'm getting the following error message when trying to login. Other people using the same PC are able to login to hotmail without any issues.  I've also tried accessing my mail on other computers also but get the same error message:

I've searched the web today and found that there are many users experiencing the same problem but are still unable to get it resolved. Please help fix this problem!

My problem seems to be receiving emails from contacts when they do a reply to one that i have sent - if they send me a new email that seems to come through. the problem is with most of my contacts.

ok... i signed up for a hotmail accout like when i was 15 and of course i did not put my real information in the set up or what ever... well over the years i have changed my password and secret question many times because of a sneeky bf or what ever... well i was doing the same thing but i was drunk... as you can amagine i cant log in now and i changed everything... i know what things it would be but to reset your password you have to know the exact answer to each one when you submit it and for each question there is like 5 different things it could be and to get the right one on each one... not happening... it keeps saying its locking me out... and i can verify everyhting in my inbox, my contacts and even the previous passwords i have had... can any one help cuz hotmail is not doing anyhting about it or responding

For some reason when i try to install windows live messenger on a computer after i formatted the computer and set it back up again, it always waits about 3 seconds before saying it was cancelled but i didnt cancel it

I only see a "forward" button, no forward as attached message..
