1. Launch Windows Live Mail.

2. Right-click your ACCOUNT and then select the “Remove account” option.

3. Click on the “Yes” button in the confirmation window.

4. Close the Windows Live Mail application then restart your computer.

After rebooting, click on the "Sync" button and make sure that there is no error generated without the account configured. If you do not encounter an error or if the "Sync" button is disabled, you can then proceed with re-configuring your account.

Note: Not all these may be necessary for account setup. It would still be best to verify with the support team of your e-mail provider.

5. Select the “Finish” button in the next window to finish the set up.
